A new spam protection law will protect Utah children from inappropriate email.
The law allows parents to sign up their children's email addresses to block ads for pornography, illegal or prescription drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gambling, firearms, and fireworks.
But, there are some downfalls with the service.
The law that implemented the registry warns enrolling email addresses could reveal it to hackers.
Senders must comply with the new law by August first.
